Reviews of Gethin's Hostelry:

"....In this fantasy, we are given the first-hand account of the epic adventure the narrator has lived. As reading, it feels as if one is walking in her books and experiencing everything through her senses. The reader is introduced to such characters as Shiny Bill and Artur, who were absolutely individual and undeniably human – virtues, flaws, quirks, bad hygiene, and all. [...] On the other side of the same coin, the author has crafted a villain who is beyond creepy and sinister, who any reader will loathe by the end of the book. One is immersed in this fantasy world that, as the pages turn, begins to feel incredibly real. I was able to clearly envision each place in my mind’s eye, from the city the narrator grew up in, to the dreary town the carriage stopped at, and through the dark mountains and to the very last scenes in her tale. [...] I'd liken the story to The Lord f the Rings, but with some of the lyricism of the writing of The Name of the Wind. If you enjoyed either of these, or just like to read fantasy with a historical bent, like me, you’ll probably enjoy this book quite a bit, and I’ll recommend it to you."
